Permobil Outdoor Trax Wheelchair

Outdoors is where it happens and the Permobil wheelchair can make it happen.

This is our basic model in the Trax group. But otherwise it is not at all what one would call basic.

Take a look at the wheels. They are large and have coarse tire treads because that is what you need for running over ruts and stones. Or when you are driving over soft or hard terrain. Or whatever...

Naturally, the chair has spring suspension. Running over uneven country should be as comfortable as possible. Besides, we think the bowl-shaped seat enhances the tough appearance. In general, Trax, down to the smallest detail, is designed to stand up to strain and overcome irritating obstacles. But it must not be clumsy.

We prefer to say that Trax is powerfully flexible. This is why Trax has rear-wheel drive and also has jointed spring suspension on the front wheels. The flexible sensation is due to the very carefully designed suspension system.

Trax can survive a tough outdoor existence. Comfortably.

Permobil C400 Jr.

A new dimension, a different perspective...

The all new C400 combines innovative design, styling, and advanced engineering concepts. The C400 maintains a small profile but combines better indoor maneuverability with superior outdoor performance. The C400 perfectly demonstrates the progression of complexity that exists with the Permobil Professional Rehab Series.

The Stander Jr. combines the ingenious Corpus seating system for children and young adults with the clinical benefits of standing. The modular design of the Corpus seat ensures optimal fit with several inches of growth. As the C400 Jr. Stander allows the user to drive in a standing position, the time spent standing becomes a functional part of life...a whole new way to incorporate stretching and other therapeutic activities into your daily routine! Standing can be achieved from a sitting position or from a horizontal one, as you would stand with a tilt table. The large variety of sitting, laying and standing position combinations allow the user's body to move about throughout the day and remain comfortable and functional.

Features:

  • Combination standing allows for a large variety of sitting, standing and laying positions
  • Stand and drive feature redefines the way standing is incorporated into the child's daily routine
  • Front wheel drive base for active users
  • Small footprint combines maneuverability with advanced obstacle climbing capabilities
  • Rugged, advanced suspension system
  • Switched ESP (Enhanced Steering Performance) option

Permobil Indoor Hexior

When just the inside counts.

Hexior is just made for mobility indoors.

Slowly but surely it can go almost anywhere. Thanks to the seat lift which rises 28 centimeters up into the stratosphere, it is possible to reach higher up and join in more. At the kitchen worktop, the conference table, the hand basin, a turning lathe or a bookshelf.

Six wheels give a smoother ride, but above all they make Hexior supreme when it comes to curves and narrow passages. The articulated chassis and the fact that all the wheels are always in contact with the floor give a feeling of almost hovering.

The idea is that users should be able to sit, or rather move about, for many hours at a time in Hexior. That is why it has the Corpus seat. In its way, Hexior is also a chair that you can really rest in. A little "power-nap" always does you good.

Most people choose to have Hexior fitted with electronic regulation of the backrest, footrests and the tilt of the seat, which can go to 30 degrees. With these options, we think Hexior is as versatile as it is possible for an indoor chair to be.

"Medicare or any other insurance company that pays according to Medicare guidelines will not pay for devices such as stair lifts, wheelchair lifts, and porch lifts. Some people may be able to get these assistive devices from their worker's compensation company."
